Most would agree that the world is not perfect, but what could make it better? Are there policy changes that should happen? Perhaps for you, it's just a change in people's attitudes (which would of course lead to changes in their actions). I would love to see improvements made in education. This includes after school programs and extra curricular initiatives, but mostly I'm concerned with the state institutions of education. There is still so much disparity between the quality of education for working class students and minority students, students who live on certain sides of town etc. Teachers should definitely be paid more. It would be nice if all kids could eat lunch for free. If we could have more community events where resources were shared, like school supplies and textbooks, tutoring, etc. There's so much more, but I wont go on. Not yet.
